You need to be a registered user to be able to post an advert for a product or service on Stabuy.

Creating a Stabuy account couldn’t be more quick and simple.

To register or post an ad

Start by selecting the ‘Post ad’ option at the top page or left hand side of the webpage. (screen shot)

If you are already a registered user, enter your user name and password to login.

If you are a first-time user, the quickest way to register is;

1)If you have a Facebook or Twitter account, you can use this to register and sign in on Stabuy. Simply click on the account that applies to you and follow the instructions.

2)Select ‘Not yet a Member? Register Now for Free.’ You will then be asked for a user name and your email address. You can type in any name as your user name (make sure it is something you can easily remember) then select ‘Register’.

You should then instantly receive your new user name and password via the email address that you have provided. Once you have received your user name and password, you can begin to post your free advert!

1. Browse through the categories; this will display all the product or services in your chosen category;


2. Once you see something that interests you, you simply select it;

3. You will then get the full display of the product or services. Here you will be able to contact the seller or the service provider by email or telephone depending on what contact details they have provided in the advert;

4.You can then go on to share the advert on your Facebook or Twitter or you can even email it to a friend.

To narrow down your search, type a keyword into the ‘keyword search menu’ on the top of the page. This will display the search results from all countries on Stabuy.

Use our currency converter to convert prices to your local currency.

If you are interested in ads from a particular country, simply select the (Menu button) select Country for ads, choose a country which you want ads from, then set the location, only ads from this chosen country will be display in all categories, click the logo to go back to the home page.

To display ads from all countries on stabuy, simply select the (Menu button) select Display ads from all countries, all ads from all countries will be display in all categories, click the logo to go back to the home page.

Why can I only advertise for a certain amount of time?
At Stabuy, it’s important for us to consistently reconfirm that your business is still in operation and that the product/ service you are advertising is still available for purchase. By doing this, we ensure that all our visitors are given a fair and accurate view of the company. In order that you are given plenty of time to renew your ad, we will always send you an email before your ad expires. It’s free and easy to renew your ad; all you have to do is click on the ‘renew’ button in your account area and your advert will automatically renew itself

Will it cost me anything to place an advert through Stabuy?
It is free to place an advert on stabuy; to prevent misuse, there will be a fee to place advert in trade and investments category. If, however, you would like to place a more prominent advert, then we do offer a variety of upgrades for a reasonable cost. More detail in advertise with us

Which language can I post my advert in?
You can post your adverts in the following languages, English, for now, French is coming soon

How many different adverts can I upload?
We do not have a limit as to how many adverts you place on stabuy, but we do not allow multiple adverts of the same item. If this occurs your account will be deleted

I have tried to place a free advert on ‘Stabuy’ but it doesn’t seem to be working. Why is this?
Check to make sure that cookies are enabled in your internet browser.

Can I change my advert once it is online?
As long as the publication deadline has not expired, then you can make changes to your advert at any time. You can do this by logging into your account area click ad management you simply select the advert you are looking to edit, click the “Edit” tab and you can make any necessary amendments this include images, video and price

I want to post a job vacancy on Stabuy, I want the job vacancy to be open to job seekers from a specific countries?
Post your job vacancy and state that the job vacancy is only open to job seekers from countries of your choice

How do I take out a featured advert?

What happen when my featured advert expires?
You will automatically receive an email, after which you can chose to renew it as a featured advert, or renew it as a free advert. This can be done in your account area (ad management)

Can I extend the duration of my featured ad?
You can re-feature your ad at any time.
Before your ad is due to expire, you will receive an email from us.

Can I change the video in my ad ?
Yes you can, sign into your account, select ad management, click edit, in the description box you can delete the video URL and paste a new one if you wish

Yes you can.

Can I remove my advert after I have sold my item?

Of course! It is simple and easy to remove an advert on Stabuy.

I have changed my email address/ phone number. Can I update them on the site?
The Profile page in my account makes it easy for you to change any of your personal information. Select Managing Your Ads & Details on the top page and follow the instructions under manage my ad

What do I do if I have forgotten my password?
Don’t worry if you can’t remember your password; we can easily forward it to you by email. All you need to do is select sign in at the top page, and select ‘Lost Password’ input the email address that you entered during the sign up process. If, for any reason, you are no longer contactable by that email address, you can simply create a new account.

How can I detect a scam?
We advise that the best way to protect yourself is by asking questions, following your instincts and reading our in safety tips guidelines

What is the process if I receive a suspicious response to one of my ads?
If ever you suspect that a reply to one of your ads is not genuine, you should firstly avoid any further dealings with the replier and then proceed to report it to us immediately. We have included a list of scams within out safety tips pages so you should make it your concern to become aware of what to look out for in potential scammers.

What if I receive phone calls regarding an ad that is not mine?
This can happen if someone had mistyped their contact details when posting an ad. If you receive phone calls regarding an ad that isn’t yours, the simply get in contact with us and we will rectify the issue straight away. Click the report link

What do I do if I receive the password for my account, even if I haven’t asked for it?
This can happen if another user requests the password for their ad and mistakenly types your email address instead of their own. Do nothing; just let us now and we will inform the relevant user. Click the report link

As a business seller, do I need to pay tax?
Please be aware that where you hold your own stock in a country, you may become accountable to register and charge VAT if applicable from your customers and pay it to the authorities where you are registered and hold your stock. VAT rates and regulations vary in each country.

I am only interested in items and services from specific countries?
By selecting, Select country for ads in the top left side menu, only items and services from your selected country will be display in all categories. To go back to your selected country home page, select home at the top page or click the logo. To view ads from all countries, select Display Ads from all countries from the menu link.

Some items and services are listed in other currencies?
Yes this is true; you can use the currency converter to convert the prices into any other currencies of your choice

How do I know I can trust a seller?
By reading our comprehensive safety tips, you can obtain a thorough understanding of this matter. We always advise that you read the advertisement carefully and follow your instincts. If it reads coherently, is rich with detail and description, includes images and contact details then it is likely to be legitimate.

When should I report an advert?
You should report an advert at anytime you suspect it of being in breach of our Terms and Conditions. We take fraud and scams extremely seriously and that is why all users are entitled to report up to two adverts per day.

What happens after I have reported an advert?
If we deem the advert to be a scam or the advert is reported by several users, we immediately withdraw it from the site where it will be reviewed by our expert moderation team. If however, we consider the advert to be genuine but find it contains some minor mistakes, we will adjust the error and inform the advertiser. For your safety and protection, Stabuy always has the final authority on whether an ad is modified or removed.
