Why can I only advertise for a certain amount of time?

At Stabuy, we must consistently reconfirm that your business is still in operation and that the product/ service you are advertising is still available for purchase. Doing this ensures that all our visitors are given a fair and accurate view of the company. So that is why you are given plenty of time to renew your ad; we will always email you before your ad expires. It’s free and easy to renew your ad; you only have to click the ‘renew’ button in your account, and your advert will automatically renew itself.

Will it cost me anything to place an advert through Stabuy?

It is free to place an advert on stabuy; there will be a fee to place an advert in the Government-seeking investment category, News, competitions, and hire me for a show. However, if you would like to place a more prominent advert, we offer various upgrades for a reasonable cost. More detail in advertising with us

Which language can I post my advert in?

You can post your adverts in the following languages, English, for now; 

French is coming soon.

How many different adverts can I upload?

We do not have a limit as to how many adverts you place on stabuy, but we do not allow multiple adverts for the same item. If this occurs, your account will be deleted.

I have tried placing a free advert on ‘Stabuy’, but it doesn’t seem to work. Why is this?

Check to make sure that cookies are enabled in your internet browser.

I want to post a job vacancy on Stabuy; I like the job vacancy to be open to job seekers from a specific country.

Post your job vacancy and state that the job vacancy is only open to job seekers from countries of your choice.

How many YouTube URLs can I have with my ads?

One per ads

How does my YouTube view count work on Stabuy?

For example, if your video on YouTube has 500 view and 200 users on stabuy view your YouTube video from the stabuy website, your total video view on YouTube will become 700 views; every time your video gets viewed on stabuy, the viewing also reflect with your youtube video at youtube.

Can I use my iPad or smartphone to post an ad on Stabuy?

Yes, you can.

What do I do if I forget my password?

Don’t worry if you can’t remember your password; we can easily forward it to you by email. All you need to do is select Sell at the top page, select ‘Lost Password’, and input the email address you entered during the sign-up process. If, for any reason, you are no longer contactable by that email address, you can create a new account.

How can I detect a scam?

We advise that the best way to protect yourself is by asking questions, following your instincts and reading our safety tips guidelines.

What is the process if I receive a suspicious response to one of my ads?

If you ever suspect a reply to one of your ads is not genuine, you should first avoid any further dealings with the replier and then report it to us immediately. We have included a list of scams within our safety tips pages, so you should make it your concern to become aware of what to look out for in potential scammers.

What if I receive phone calls regarding an ad that is not mine?

Sometimes this can happen if someone mistyped their contact details when posting an ad. If you receive phone calls regarding an ad that isn’t yours, contact us, and we will rectify the issue immediately. Click the feedback link.

What do I do if I receive the password for my account, even if I haven’t asked for it?

Sometimes this can happen if another user requests the password for their ad and mistakenly types your email address instead of their own. Do nothing; just let us know, and we will inform the relevant user. Click the feedback link.

As a business seller, do I need to pay taxes?

Please be aware that where you hold your stock in a country, you may become accountable to register and charge VAT, if applicable, from your customers and pay it to the authorities where you are registered and hold your stock. VAT rates and regulations vary in each country.

Does Stabuy offer refunds for ads?

We do not offer refunds for ads on the Stabuy website, Refunds will only be issued in exceptional circumstances, subject to our discretion. If a refund is approved, it will be provided in the form of a credit to your Stabuy account. Refunds will not be issued in cash, bank transfers, or any other payment methods except as credit to your Stabuy account. The amount of credit issued for a refund may not be equal to the original purchase amount.

I am only interested in items and services from specific countries.

Select (All Country) in the top left side. Select your desired country and set your location. To view ads from all countries, select All from the same menu.

Some items and services are listed in other currencies.

Yes, this is true; you can use the currency converter to convert the prices into any other currency you choose.

How do I know I can trust a seller?

By reading our comprehensive safety tips, you can understand this matter thoroughly. We always advise that you read the advertisement carefully and follow your instincts. It is likely legitimate if it reads coherently, is rich with detail and description, and includes images and contact details.

When should I report an advert?

You should report an advert whenever you suspect it is in breach of our Terms and Conditions. We take fraud and scams exceptionally seriously, so all users can report up to two adverts daily.

What happens after I have reported an advert?

For your safety and protection, Stabuy has the final authority on whether an ad is modified or removed. If we deem the advert a scam or several users report it, we immediately withdraw it from the site, where our expert moderation team will review it again. If we consider the advert genuine but contain minor mistakes, we will adjust the error and inform the advertiser.

I have changed my email address/ phone number. Can I update you on Stabuy?

You can amend your telephone number. For security, your email address cannot be amended once registered.
